Before she was Captain Clevy Nelson-Royster, she was just Ms. Clevy Nelson-Royster who was attending Tuskegee University.
It is said that while pursuing a dual degree program, working (even part-time) will be impossible or extremely difficult while earning two degrees. Guess what Clevy Nelson-Royster did?
Not only did she walk out of Tuskegee with two degrees, she simultaneously completed all of the requirements for the Army ROTC program and participated in many college extracurricular activities, worked two jobs and ran cross country for Tuskegee. How extraordinarily amazing is that????
It speaks to intelligence, excellent work and study ethic and motivation.
In her sophomore year, Clevy became a member of the Army ROTC.

- Graduated Tuskegee University Magna Cum Laude 2015
- Completed 2 Bachelor degrees during her 4-year tenure at Tuskegee: Bachelor of Science Business Administration and Bachelor of Science Sales and Marketing
- Selected to work at Tuskegee College Business Office for 2 years and fundraising for Tuskegee University.
- Successfully completed Army Airborne training
- Awarded three Army Achievement Medals: ARCOM Medal, German Armed Forces Badge, Iron Woman

She is Enrolled in Master in Management and Leadership program at Webster University. Graduation date was to be December 2020.
She plans to continue her progressive Army career and to further her education.
